Within the four walls of Facebook, an immersive concept called the ‘House Party’ dispelled the myths teens have about Hep C.

Aussie teens misunderstood Hep C. Shrugged off as ‘The Junkie Disease’, teenagers fuelled by alcohol and a YOLO culture weren’t realising the decisions they made in the heat-of-moment could impact the rest of their lives. Users were invited to enter the party virtually, bringing their own Facebook friends via a complete Facebook api integration making their way through a realistic online party environment. The bold video confronted young adults with needles, tattoo guns and razors and asked them, “what would you do?” After the activity 27% of NSW 18-24 year olds agreed with the statement “Hepatitis C is a relevant threat to me.”
